Porcini from the Waldviertel, pumpkin ravioli and a ragù that smells of chestnut-wood fire. Lucia and Matteo have brought autumn to the plate — for as long as the season lasts.

Cucina casalinga · ogni giorno dal mercato

la nostra sala, Servitengasse 9
When Nonna Rosa arrived in Vienna in 1987 from a small village near Bologna, she didn't bring much — apart from her rolling pin and a notebook full of family recipes. A tiny kitchen on Schleifmühlgasse became the place where the neighbourhood has been meeting ever since.
Today her daughter Lucia and grandson Matteo run the stove. The pasta is still rolled by hand every morning, the ragù simmers for six hours, and anyone who comes twice is greeted by name. Così si fa da noi — that's how we do things here.

la famiglia, tutti insieme

in cucina, come sempre

An evening in Fiorello's garden feels like a holiday in Italy — except you take the tram home afterwards.
“Like Sunday lunch with family in Italy — only in the middle of Vienna. The ravioli are pure poetry.”
“The tagliatelle al ragù are the best in town. Full stop. And Matteo always recommends the right wine to go with them.”
“The garden is our summer living room, and Lucia remembers what we like to eat. We've been coming for years.”
